The Capsule Portal is the gateway to Capsule's cloud-based sound library
This desktop application can be used to browse and install Capsule libraries, or it can run in the background allowing to access the sounds through the Capsule plugin.
In a nutshell, the Portal allows you to:
- Install and update the Capsule plugin
- Browse the entire sound library
- Download sounds
- Manage your list of saved and liked sounds
- Create and edit user collections
Must I always use the Portal to download sounds?
No, you can actually download sounds directly in the Capsule plugin, as long as the Portal is running in the background, however, to not disturb your workflow it is recommended to install large libraries via the Portal app.
